XJ Historical Documents Show In Beijing

The exhibition of XJ Ancient Books and the Preservation and Conservation Achievement opened at the exhibition center of National Library of China on Wednesday. It is the largest XJ precious historical documents show since 1949 and also the first grand show about XJ held in Beijing.

320-odd ancient books and antiques collected by 23 units across China were shown. Over half of them were the only existing copy. 21 ancient books were listed in State-level Precious Ancient Books. In addition, 100 ancient coins circulated at each historical period of Xinjiang were also on display.   

At the exhibition, Xinjiang's Intangible Cultural Heritage Works were shown, including mulberry paper-making and Muqam art performances. The exhibition will last to Mar.26th.
