More Fund To Boost Tourism

In order to make good use of the abundant tourism resources in Xinjiang, the local authority will step up efforts to promote tourism in the next five years.

Xinjiang will  intensify efforts to develop tourist brand with ethnic feature, such as folklore tour, eco-tour and special tour, aiming to build a tourist brand along the Silk Road.  

Kuqa Grand Canyon shows different sceneries in four seasons. Mr He, a tourist from Beijing praised the unique landscape in the early spring.


" The weathered canyon is a spectacle, and it's very impressive.  " 

The workers with the scenic spot told reporters that, over 200 tourists come to the canyon per day since spring comes.

Xinjiang will pour 100 million yuan every year for infrastructure construction and tourism promotion in the next five years. Besides, the state will grant 20 million yuan a year to help Xinjiang's tourism grow with a 20% annual rise in tourism income.
