Beijing recruiting elite global talents for 17 positions

  In order to attract high-level professionals from overseas and increase diversity in Beijing’s talent pool, the capital city recently announced the third batch of special positions for job applicants from all over the world, according to the Beijing Municipal Government.

  The city announced 17 special posts at governmental institutions such as the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work, the Beijing Intellectual Property Office, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Bureau, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, and 10 district government offices. There are no nationality restrictions for these positions, which cover areas such as finance, technology, information, and environmental protection.

  Based on the interim procedures of recruiting overseas talents for special government jobs, the titles of the appointments are all assistants for directors of different governmental departments. Successful applicants are expected to be responsible for principal projects or work in Beijing and its municipal districts. The remuneration will be globally competitive to attract people from other countries. Meanwhile, successful applicants will be enrolled in the “Beijing global talent magnet project” and enjoy relevant life and career support.

  Most of the positions require the applicants to hold doctoral degree or above and have overseas experience as well as related working experience.
