URUMQI, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- The legislature of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Friday reelected Shohrat Zakir as regional government chairman.

　　The decision was made at the first session of the 13th Xinjiang Regional People's Congress held in the regional capital of Urumqi.

　　Shohrat Zakir, 64, has served in the post since January 2015.
