Senior CPC official meets Tanzanian CCM secretary general

BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Chen Xi on Tuesday met with Bashiru Ally, secretary general of Tanzania's ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), who is leading a delegation of Tanzania's national executive committee seminar.

Chen said that China attaches great importance to the all-weather friendship with Tanzania, and is willing to promote the China-Tanzania comprehensive cooperative partnership to play a leading role in the construction of the China-Africa community with a shared future.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of relations between the two parties. Chen said China hopes the two sides will work together to plan for and promote the continuous development of relations between the two parties and the two countries.

For his part, Bashiru said Tanzania is willing to promote relations between the two parties and deepen cooperation of mutual benefit between the two countries.
