Greenhouses set up in desert to develop eco agriculture in NW China's Gansu-TIANSHANNET-天山网

Bordering the Badain Jaran Desert, the city used to find it difficult to develop economy. In recent years, a program has been kicked off in local region to build greenhouses in the desert, taking advantage of the extended amount of sunlight and water source from the Qilian Mountains.
