Xinjiang edges Shanxi 114-110 despite Franklin's 42 points display in CBA

TAIYUAN, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- With five players scoring in double digits, Xinjiang Flying Tigers defeated Shanxi Loongs 114-110 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Tuesday.

The game was close from beginning to end. Shanxi's Jamaal Franklin collected a quadruple-double with 42 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, and 10 steals.

Eric Mika scored a team-high 29 points while Zhou Qi added 20 points for Xinjiang. Ren Junwei scored 18 points for the home side.

After this game, Shanxi ended a five-game winning streak and dropped to fourth place in the league.
