Before and after the Grain in Ear day each year, one of the China’s 24 solar terms, it is the key period for planting pollution-free Chinese cabbages at Baluntai Town in Hejing County, an ideal place for planting due to its unique climate and soil conditions. With the advantage of green pollution-free vegetables, Chinese cabbage produced here sells well in vegetable markets across Xinjiang. It is learned that Baluntai Town plans to plant 3567.5 mus of pollution-free Chinese cabbage.
