Supply of plums of Kashgar to domestic markets by charter flights

Xinjiang Daily news (Reporter Ma Yining): At 21:50 on August 12, 2020, a flight from Kashgar arrived in Xi'an, fully loaded with plums newly picked, which will be distributed and forwarded to other domestic cities. This is the first time that plums of Kashgar transported by charter flights to inland cities in large quantities.

It is the plum harvest season now. In order to transport fresh plums out of Xinjiang as soon as possible, Tianyuan International Logistics Co., Ltd. Of Xinjiang Airport Group joins China Southern Airlines to open a charter flight from Kashgar to Xi'an starting from August 12, 2020, with 1 to 2 flights per day, altogether 60 flights and an estimated transport volume of 900 tons.

Plums of Kashgar are sweet and very popular among inland consumers. The Development and Reform Commission of Kashgar Prefecture issues subsidy policy, the logistics company of Xinjiang Communications Construction Group is responsible for marketing, Tianyuan International Logistics is responsible for support and coordination, China Southern Airlines is responsible for charter flight transportation, in a joint effort to help Kashgar transport plums to all parts of the country as soon as possible.

Next, China Southern Airlines will arrange flights according to actual needs in a timely manner, build a dedicated air passage for poverty alleviation to facilitate market supply of more high-quality agricultural products of Xinjiang.
