Tianshannet news (Correspondent Du Dongling): The construction of 52 key projects in the Urumqi International Land Port Area is accelerating at full speed, which will contribute to the development of the Land Port Area when completed.

　　The railway port express centre in the Urumqi International Land Port Area began construction in June 2020, with a total construction area of about 146,000 square meters and a total investment of 728 million RMB yuan. The project includes 12 facilities such as the international express zone, the domestic express zone and the cross-border e-commerce zone etc.. It is planed to be completed and put into operation at the end of August 2021.

　　The deputy general manger of the Xinjiang International Land Port (Group) Co., Ltd. Peng Shengfen introduced that the railway port express centre will be the core area of the Urumqi International Land Port Area when completed together with the China-Europe Railway Express Hub and the multimodal transport supervision center.

　　The expansion project of Jinyang Road, a total length of more than 2.3 kilometers, is also a key project in the Urumqi International Land Port Area, involving the construction of road, tunnels and the landscape gate of the China-Europe Railway Express Hub.

　　As an important road in the International Land Port Area, Jinyang Road connects the traffic of the north and south sides of the land port area and is an important regional traffic hub. In the future, it will not only facilitate the travel of neighbouring residents, but also meet the traffic demand of the International Land Port Area and the Urumqi International Textile and Garment Trade Center.
