ZHUJI, China, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- Six players scored in double-digits as the Xinjiang Flying Tigers routed the Nanjing Monkey Kings 119-94 in the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Saturday night.

Nanjing chose to rest its star guard Xiralijan Muhtar on the night that could have been the cause of the team's slow start to the game. Xinjiang used a 13-3 run to hold a 26-20 lead in the first quarter, including seven points from Qi Lin.

They kept the intensity on the defensive end in the first half, keeping a double-digit lead for the second period and countering attempts Nanjing made to catch up.

Ahead 54-39 at the start of the second half, Xinjiang extended its lead to 25 points on six straight points by Rapkatjan Tursunjan, and coasted to an easy win.

Zeng Lingxu had 17 points and seven assists for Xinjiang, while Arnett Moultrie got 33 points and 20 rebounds for Nanjing.
