Green, yellow and purple, their name is harvest

Towankekagemushi Village, which is located in Ayibage Town of Awat County, northwest China’s Xinjiang, is known as the “Grape Village” due to its long history and large area of grape planting. At present, more than 2,800 mu of grapes in the village have entered the picking period. The Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Aksu Prefecture has set up a volunteer service team to help farmers harvest and sell in time.

At present, 130,000 mu of safflower seeds have entered the harvest period in Yumin County, northwest China’s Xinjiang, and the total output is expected to reach more than 8000 tons. In 2021, the total output value of safflower in Yumin County can reach 250 million yuan, and farmers per capita income is expected to reach 1000 yuan.

In recent years, Xinhe County has actively encouraged and guided farmers to develop characteristic forest fruit planting such as Xinjiang plums, to increase their income.
