Photos taken on Oct. 9, 2021 show athletes from NW China’s Xinjiang who are about to compete in the 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th National Special Olympics are doing 100-meter dash training at the Hongshan Gymnasium in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The Paralympics and the Special Olympics will be held from October 22 to 29 in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Xinjiang will send 60 athletes to compete in nine different events, including long-distance running, archery and table tennis.
