Sayram Lake in spring shows amazing color of half ivory and half aquamarine

As the weather warms up, the frozen Sayram Lake starts melting, layers of thin ice piled up by the water on the lake shore make clear clash, floating and sinking by the shore. Blue water and white ice blocks form a unique scenery of ‘half ivory and half aquamarine’ in the Sayram Lake during the ice heaping period in Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang.
