Abbas Abliz: He used livestreaming to promote the fruit industry

To host livestreaming shows to promote characteristic agricultural products, record the beautiful scenery of the countryside, and share local customs of the hometown... "Mudan Guli", a TikTok account, has attracted tens of thousands of fans in half a year by promoting local agricultural products via livestreaming. Walnuts, jujubes and sokmak recommended by Abbas Abliz, the anchor of "Mudan Guli", are selling well in and outside Xinjiang.

It's no accident that 23-year-old Abbas became an "Internet influencer".

In 2017, Abbas was admitted to Jinan University to study e-commerce. Before going to university, Abbas participated in an e-commerce training course held in Hotan City. After the training, he opened a shop specializing in Hotan specialty products on Taobao. In this way, Abbas began his college life with his Taobao shop, "Xinyutao Fruit Industry".

"Xinyutao Fruit Industry" has more than ten kinds of local special agricultural products such as walnuts, jujubes, and sokmak. "My father has a special agricultural products company, and he is responsible for supply and delivery. The sales volume reached 200 orders within 15 days after opening the store, and the biggest sale was on the 'Double 11', with sales volume of 20,000 yuan. During college, all my living expenses came from my store." Abbas said proudly On May 3. Since then, Abbas has fallen in love with online sales.

After graduating from college, Abbas returned to his father's company, Xinjiang Xinyutao Agricultural Product Development Co., Ltd. "During the epidemic, looking at the backlog of agricultural products in the warehouse, I wanted to sell agricultural products online through livestreaming." Abbas talked about his original intention to shoot short videos and be an anchor. In his first live stream, Abbas sold 20,000 yuan of products.

"Hotan sokmak is sweet but not greasy. It is made of seven or eight kinds of nuts or dried fruits such as walnuts, cashews and jujubes, which grow naturally in a pure natural environment and are rich in nutrients..." At 17:30, Abbas appeared in the live room with his sister Aliya Abliz on time. In front of the camera, Abbas and his sister talked eloquently, from the source of the product to the tasting experience, and introduced three "regulars" including walnuts, jujubes, and sokmak in the live room. Abbas said, "We livestream more than 4 hours a day, and the monthly sales can reach about 100,000 yuan."

In February of this year, Abbas established Yuxiangyuan E-Commerce Co., Ltd., and registered the brands of "Mudan Guli" and "Xinyu Jujube". There are currently 7 people in the team. "The total number of fans on the whole network has accumulated to nearly 60,000 people in half a year of live commerce." Abbas said.

Today, Abbas relies on two jujube planting bases, two walnut planting bases and the Zaoxiangyuan Agricultural Products Cooperative to form a comprehensive industrial economy that combines fruit planting, production and processing, and sales and circulation, creating 125 jobs.

Abbas said, "We will move our live room to the fields, and do livestreaming in the place of origin, hence to make more agricultural products become a choice on the table of thousands of families and bring more income to all people.”
