Various birds chirp merrily in Karamay City of Xinjiang

In early April, a group of migratory birds from the south have arrived in Karamay City, northwest China’s Xinjiang. They play and forage at the Guhai Ecological Park in the southern suburbs of Karamay City and the water on the west side of the factory of Karamay Petrochemical Company, showing a beautiful scroll of ecological harmony.

In recent years, with the ecological environment continuing to improve in Karamay City, more and more birds come to live here. According to statistics, the migratory birds that migrate here mainly include mute swans, whooper swans, egrets, herons, grey geese, black-headed gulls, grebes, and various wild ducks. Some of them continue to move north after a short rest, while others choose to stay and breed.
