Shiliuyun-Xinjiang Daily (Reporter: Zhang Wande Correspondent: Mu Zhipeng) news: On November 26, 2022, most of northern Xinjiang welcomed a cold and snowy weather. The railway department quickly launched the emergency plan, organized personnel and machines to be on duty at the first time, and concentrated on carrying out non-stop snow and ice clearing operations targeting turnouts and facilities at key areas in the Urumqi Station of Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway, the Kuitun Station of Kuitun-Beitun Railway and Karamay-Tacheng Railway. More than 700 people took turns to clear snow, making every effort to ensure safe and smooth railway transport.
