Recently, 32 journalists from 14 countries and regions, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, and Nepal, traveled to Xinjiang's Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture and Urumqi for coverage during the 2025 Media Cooperation Forum of SCO Countries.

Among them, Charumini de Silva, deputy editor of Daily FT in Sri Lanka, spent a day experiencing Xinjiang's culture with reporter of InXinjiang. Silva remarked that Xinjiang is vibrant everywhere and full of cultural charm. Before her visit, her colleagues told her that Xinjiang was beautiful and that she would fall in love with it. After arriving, she described her experience as an eye-opening journey and expressed her hope to bring her family back to Xinjiang next time.
