Wildlife in Xinjiang | Xinjiang Ground Jay

Xinjiang Ground Jay (Podoces biddulphi) is a bird species endemic to China and is under second-class state protection. For more than a century since its discovery, the species has seen a decline in its population. Currently, with fewer than 7,000 individuals remaining, it is now classified as a globally endangered bird species.
