The continuous Haloxylon ammodendron trees stretched their branches, as if covered with a layer of soft gauze, rendering a gentle background color for the desert area.

Two red deer grazed at the forest, they were agile and vigorous, with their brown fur gilded with fine golden edges by the setting sun, exuding a lively and dynamic charm.

The two red deer sometimes bent down to nibble the newly grown buds under the saxaul trees, and sometimes stopped to lick the dew left on the leaves. Every movement was calm and comfortable, blending in with the serene natural scenery around.

It is understood that the total area of Xinjiang Ganjiahu Haloxylon Ammodendron National Nature Reserve is 54,667 hectares, of which the area of forest land managed by the Wusu Branch is about 26,667 hectares. It has six management and protection stations under its jurisdiction. There are 284 kinds of wild plants, such as Haloxylon ammodendron and Populus euphratica, distributed in the area, and there are also 172 kinds of typical desert wild animals such as the national first-class protected animals black stork and otis undulata, and the national second-class protected animals Eurasian lynx, whooper swan, and red deer.
