Actor Yu Shi appointed executive director of the CESA equestrian archery sports center

On November 9, 2025, the Executive Council (Enlarged) Meeting of the Horse Culture Sports Committee of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association (CESA) and the press conference for the finals of the 2025 National Equestrian Archery Tour were held at the equestrian archery sports center in Shenzhen.

Yu Shi delivered a speech as the executive director of the equestrian archery sports center in Shenzhen.

Yu Shi, national equestrian archery champion and actor, was appointed executive director of the equestrian archery sports center of the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association (CESA) in Shenzhen at the meeting, with the expectation that he will advance the sport's development and promote it among teenagers, which has drawn significant attention.

Yu Shi, born on December 22, 1996, in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, is a mainland Chinese actor and alumnus of Liaoning Technical University. He began his career in 2018 playing Ji Fa in the "Creation of the Gods" trilogy and has since starred in multiple acclaimed film and television works, earning several honors.

In September, 2024, Yu Shi was appointed deputy director of the sports center, according to the Chinese Ethnic Sports Association (CESA).

Through vivid portrayal of equestrian and archery culture in film and television productions, Yu Shi, who has won multiple national equestrian archery championships and led his team to victory in the Asian Youth Archery Championships, has further heightened public awareness of this traditional sport.
