InXinjiang (93) | After visiting Urumqi at night, this Pakistani youth plans to buy a house in Xinjiang

For this episode, we have invited Bayazeed Kasi, chairman of the Friends of China Forum in Pakistan and focal person to the Balochistan government on CPEC and economic development. Since his first arrival in Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at the end of 2014, he has visited Xinjiang multiple times and witnessed firsthand the development of Xinjiang over the past decade.

In his view, China's greatest achievement in Xinjiang is transforming it into a place free from terrorism and ensuring a safer life for its people — the tranquil and peaceful streets, as well as the hospitable residents, all embody this sense of security. Today, as Xinjiang opens its doors wider and wider, those false reports collapse of their own accord, because people can witness the real Xinjiang with their own eyes.

Bayazeed Kasi also stated that Xinjiang is developing very well, with convenient living conditions, and he would buy a vacation house in Xinjiang if he had the resources. "Even if I don't buy one, it's fine, as my friends are all extremely hospitable and will make me feel right at home," said Bayazeed Kasi.
