In this episode of InXinjiang, we have Nataša Radosavljević-Gaberova, a Serbian language professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University, who shares her genuine experiences and profound insights from her two visits to northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
This is Nataša's second trip to Xinjiang. Her winter visit stands in sharp contrast to her summer trip last year. From the magnificent snow scenery in Altay Prefecture to the mild and charming ambiance of Yining City, every sight left her deeply impressed. In response to false reports about Xinjiang in Western media, Nataša sincerely appealed that those with doubts should come to Xinjiang in person, talk to the local people, and see the real Xinjiang with their own eyes. As a witness to the "steel friendship" between China and Serbia, she was delighted to find that Serbian products have reached China's Xinjiang, and she expressed strong hope for deeper cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
"I would say that when you step into this country (China), this place, this region (China's Xinjiang), you can immediately fall in love with it, and it will make you want to come back again," Nataša said.
