In mid-May, the area of Luoxia Bay along the road around Bosten Lake in Bohu County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was lush with reeds and full of vitality. Juvenile cormorants, egrets, and grey cranes that had previously hatched in the same nesting area had become increasingly well-feathered. Young cormorants competed for food delivered by their parents, young egrets played and practiced flight, and young grey cranes continued to grow in body size. With abundant food resources and a tranquil environment, Bosten Lake has become an ideal breeding and roosting habitat for waterbirds, presenting a harmonious ecological landscape shaped by nature.
