Tianshan Voice｜Xinjiang's Alashankou "International Driver's Home": Understanding "Chinese-Style Warmth"

Olesia Ermakova from Russia visited Alashankou in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for the first time, where the warm "China-Kazakhstan International Drivers' Home" truly touched her heart.

The facility provides cross-border drivers with rest areas, bathing facilities and a shared kitchen, brimming with warmth. In the first quarter of this year, freight volume at the Alashankou highway port increased by over 50 percent. A huge volume of goods was transported to Central Asia and Europe, making the trade corridor increasingly prosperous.

Olesia said that the kindness here proves cooperation brings peace, and peace brings prosperity. In China, she feels safe here and sees abundant opportunities, just like being at home. She sincerely wishes China's Xinjiang and its people lasting peace, prosperity and happiness.
