Tianshan Voice｜Visit Xinjiang in person and witness the reality on the ground

This trip marks Alex Butler's very first visit to northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. He embarked on a tour across the region, exploring the Ghost City scenic spot in Karamay City, the ancient city of Kashi, and attending the 9th China-Eurasia Expo, sharing a distinctive perspective on Xinjiang based on his firsthand experiences.

Alex said that books and online videos can never replace the authentic insights gained from an in-person visit. The grand and unique Yardang landforms of the Ghost City, the vibrant folk culture permeating the ancient city of Kashi, and the prosperous, modern landscape of Urumqi all left a deep impression on him. At the expo, cutting-edge technological innovations were displayed alongside local specialty goods, and the people's enthusiasm to seek cooperation allowed him to directly witness Xinjiang's thriving business momentum and commitment to opening-up.

What struck Alex most was Xinjiang's uniquely diverse charm. Breathtaking natural scenery, profound folk traditions, modern industries and sophisticated urban infrastructure coexist harmoniously here. He invites people to travel to Xinjiang to experience the charm in person and explore business opportunities through face-to-face exchanges.
