The fifth installment of the China-Eurasia Expo will take place in Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region, Sept 20-25.
A 300-square-meter pavilion has been built by the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone to showcase the development of Urumqi’s advanced manufacturing, financial sector, cultural tourism and intelligence industry under the theme of “vigor and innovation”.
According to Zhou Lei, who is in charge of the arrangement of the zone’s pavilion at the expo, the key industries will be promoted through an eye-catching display, with industrial props being used to attract the attention of visitors.
In a room shaped like an industrial gear, hi-tech products such as drones, 3D printers and hydroelectric generators will be on display.
The annual expo is the most prestigious trading and investment platform in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. In the last four years, the amount and value of contracts signed by the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone is more than any other exhibitor in Xinjiang.
