Guardians protect Ebinur Lake Wetland, NW China’s Xinjiang

According to statistics, there are 579 species of wild plants belonging to 281 genera and 66 families in the Ebinur Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve. There are 327 species of vertebrates, among which the number of bird species has increased from 111 in the early establishment of the nature reserve in 2000 to 267. The total number of birds observed here exceeds two million, and it has become an important habitat and transit station for birds in Xinjiang.
