Among them, the Alashankou railway station and Horgos railway station have achieved an average daily passage of 21 and 22 China-Europe freight trains, and the monthly number of China-Europe freight trains at the two ports has remained over 600, exceeding 6,000 trains on average 20 days earlier than last year.
In order to promote the high-quality operation of China-Europe freight trains, the railway department of Xinjiang has actively carried out online and offline meetings and on-site surveys with railway departments in Kazakhstan. They have coordinated related matters, including train handover and cargo loading at the ports, and worked closely to ensure the smooth port operation. At the same time, they have continued to deepen cooperation with joint port inspection units, make good use of the new comprehensive inspection field at Alashankou railway station, increase the capacity of standard and broad gauges shifting and marshaling at Alashankou railway station by more than 15 percent and 30 percent respectively, and vigorously promote the "digital port" system and railway express services to ensure that China-Europe freight trains operate smoothly at the ports.
The Alashankou railway station and Horgos railway station continuously optimize the transportation and production organization, implement accurate scheduling and command, and realize seamless coordination of all aspects, so as to ensure the realization of train operation plans. They have also actively pushed forward the modes such as united transportation of railway and highway, “fast customs clearance” and “cross-border e-commerce” to improve the quality and efficiency of the China-Europe freight trains.
At present, the Alashankou railway station has 122 routes for China-European freight trains, reaching 21 countries abroad, and the Horgos railway station has 85 routes for China-European freight trains, reaching 18 countries abroad.
