Plant factory’s cabinet exhibited at the 5th China-Eurasia Expo

On September 23, a glass-frame cabinet fully planted with vegetables in Urumqi booth at the 5th China-Eurasia Expo attracted reporters’ attention.
It is leaned that the said cabinet is the epitome of factorization of high-tech agriculture. Its working principle is to completely imitate the temperature, daytime, soil nutrients, air circulation for vegetable growth, which is identical to high-standard natural environment and free from the pollution therein. It is designed to create a sustainable Eco-cycle economic model that really gives consideration to environmental restoration and reuse of resources.
Vegetables cultivated in plant factory can grow from seed to 80-100 grams in 40 days, and can retain freshness at 5-7℃. Such vegetables also can be eaten directly, with no need to clean.
