Dollar changes hands above 112 yen line in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands above the 112 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, marginally higher than its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.03-04 yen compared with 111.87-97 yen in New York and 111.47-48 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1691-1692 dollars and 130.99-131.03 yen against 1.1685-1695 dollars and 130.81-91 yen in New York and 1.1615-1616 dollars and 129.48-52 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
