Xinjiang Museum reopened with 200 visitors limit per day

Tianshannet news (Reporter Zhao Mei & Qin Peng): Xinjiang Museum reopened at 12 o 'clock on March 17. In compliance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, visitors will be capped at 200 people a day by means of real-name advance booking after reopening of the museum.

On the morning of the reopening day, the reporter saw outside the gate of Xinjiang Museum, there were already citizens wearing masks waiting outside the gate for admission before the opening time. These citizens lined up at a distance of 1.5 meters according to the requirements of the staff. At 12 o'clock, after the opening time, citizens took out the documents prepared in advance and screenshots of online booking information, started to enter in an orderly manner after passing temperature test. After entering the museum, in addition to wearing masks during the exhibition, visitors must also maintain a safe distance of more than 1.5 meters when viewing the exhibition. In addition, the visit time should not be too long.

In an interview with reporters, the curator of Xinjiang Museum Yu Zhiyong said that at the beginning of reopening, the opening time is 12:00 to 16:00 every day (entry will be stopped at 15:00), and the museum is closed every Monday. If citizens come to visit, they need to follow the official WeChat "Xinjiang Museum" to obtain a QR code and make a screenshot of successful real name booking information (valid only for the same day). It is forbidden to bring any food, drinks and backpack luggage into the museum.

During the epidemic prevention and control period, Xinjiang Museum cancelled group visiting and manpower introduction services. “We provided free audio guides for visitors, and alcohol disinfection lotion at the entrance of the exhibition hall and hand washing lotion at the bathroom.” Yu Zhiyong said, in order to strictly implement the various prevention and control measures of the epidemic prevention work and fully implement the requirement of "open after disinfection", before the opening of the museum, security inspection channels, exhibition hall public areas, information desks and toilets have all been disinfected, while strengthening disinfection of key areas and ventilation of halls.
