Aksu Commercial and Trade Logistics Park listed as the demonstration logistics park of Xinjiang

Tianshannet news (Reporter Ren Hongfang, Correspondent Yang Chi): On May 27, 2020, the reporter learned from the Development and Reform Commission of Aksu Prefecture that, after assessment by the leading group on establishing the autonomous region-level demonstration park, Aksu Commercial and Trade Logistics Park in Aksu City of Aksu Prefecture, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has been selected as one of the first batch of autonomous region-level demonstration logistics parks.

It is reported that Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has selected some logistics parks in Xinjiang that are widely recognized in the logistics industry and advanced in operation modes as pilot demonstration logistics parks for exemplary and motivating purposes. The listing of Aksu Commercial and Trade Logistics Park as the autonomous region-level demonstration logistics park will boost the construction, improve the functions and strengthen the institutional mechanisms of the park, as well as promote development of the commercial and trade logistics in Aksu Prefecture.

Aksu Commercial and Trade Logistics Park is consisted of several zones, with a planned area of 54.76 square kilometers. Up to now, there are 61 companies operating in the park, among them, 24 are commercial and trade logistics enterprises, 26 are agricultural products processing enterprises. The park adopts modern information technology to promote innovation and integration of express delivery, warehousing, transportation and e-commerce, meeting urban and regional logistics needs.
