URUMQI, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- A rare scenery of blue ice was spotted recently at a reservoir in Tekes County of Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Viewed from above, the clusters of ice spreading across the blue surface resembled a map of ocean.
