He maliciously attacked the human rights situation in Xinjiang once again, distorting and discrediting the counter-terrorism and de-radicalization struggle carried out in Xinjiang, and unjustifiably accused the Chinese government of its policy of governing Xinjiang, and grossly interfered in China's internal affairs under the guise of human rights. I strongly condemn and firmly oppose his behavior and statement!

Pompeo has been acting as the backstage driving force of terrorists blatantly for a long time, telling too many lies and spreading too much hostility. This American politician, who is notorious for lying and deceiving, is standing with his doomsday madness and century lies on the opposite side of the 1.4 billion Chinese people, the international community and human morality and conscience. No force can stop the process of stability, development and prosperity of Xinjiang and the pace of unity and progress of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang.

Xinjiang is an integral part of China's territory, and all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are family members of the Chinese nation. In the long process of historical development, the fate of Xinjiang has always been closely linked with that of the great motherland and the Chinese people. In recent years, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have worked together and entered the best period of prosperity and development in history.

Today's stability and peace in Xinjiang do not come easy. In the past, violent and terrorist activities occurred frequently in Xinjiang, and the people's rights to survival and development were seriously trampled. Holding high the banner of socialist rule of law, we not only severely crack down on violent terrorist crimes in accordance with the law, but also attach importance to carrying out vicious source control. By focusing on improving people's livelihood, strengthening publicity and education on the rule of law, and establishing vocational education and training centers in accordance with the law for assistance and education, we have carried out in-depth counterterrorism and deradicalization work, laying a solid foundation for the realization of social stability and long-term peace and stability in Xinjiang. There have been no violent terrorist cases (incidents) in Xinjiang for more than four consecutive years. The infiltration of extremism has been effectively curbed. The social security situation has been improved significantly. People of all ethnic groups live and work in peace and contentment, and their feeling of gain, happiness and security has been boosted significantly.

Human rights, first of all, refer to the rights if life, survival and development. From 2014 to 2019, the average annual growth rate of GDP in Xinjiang is 7.2%, and the average annual growth rate of per capita disposable income is 9.1%. Under the current standard of 3.0649 million, all the poverty-stricken people have been lifted out of poverty, we have lifted a rural poor population of 3,064,900 under the current standard out of poverty, including 3,666 poverty-stricken villages and 32 poverty-stricken counties. At the same time, the local social security system is upgrading, implementing national free health examination, residents' basic medical insurance coverage rate going up as high as 99.7%.

In the past 60 years, the average life expectancy in Xinjiang has increased from 30 to 72. The Uygur population continued to grow, with a growth rate of 25.04% from 2010 to 2018, higher than the growth rate of 13.99% of the whole Xinjiang population, and much higher than the growth rate of 2% of the Han population. The languages, traditional culture and customs of the ethnic minorities in Xinjiang have been well protected and inherited, and the people of all ethnic groups fully enjoy the rights of survival and development. The so-called "genocide" is a mere fabrication.

Facts speak louder than words, and justice is held high in most people’s heart. Lies can't cover the truth, just as dark clouds can't cover the sun. Pompeo and his followers do not tell the truth, ignoring common sense and consensus. His ugly face even is abominated by American people, and finally he fell out of power embarrassedly. What he has done is not welcome in any country at any time. What he has done is bound to be nailed to the pillar of shame in history and will be notorious for thousands of years!

Any rumors, slanders, distortions and gross interference will not stop the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang from uniting and advancing, will not erase the fact of the development and progress of human rights cause in Xinjiang, and will not interfere with the process of Xinjiang's prosperity and development! Any attempt to destroy the good situation of harmony and stability in Xinjiang will end in failure! Xinjiang's tomorrow will be better!
