A few days ago, U.S. former Secretary of State Pompeo falsely accused Xinjiang commits “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” against Uyghurs and other ethnic groups.So-called “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” are nonsense. This is a lie and farce fabricated by the buffoon Pompeo. He slandered and smeared China’s Xinjiang policies with some immoral and lie-laced “actors”. They served as the black-hands for terrorism, made groundless fallacies which created by those institutes or organization that manipulated by some politicians and sponsors as the holy words. With double-standards being disclosed, his behavior has seriously violated international law and basic norms of international relations. It blatantly interfered in China’s domestic affairs and hurts the feeling of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang.

Truth will prevail over lies. In the past 70 years, Xinjiang’s average life expectancy has grown from 30 to 72 years. Uyghur population registered sustained growth.The fact-based data and hard truth have exposed Pompeo’s lie of “genocide”. He himself just dug in the dream of dirty tricks on anti-China by Xinjiang related issues.

Lies will never cover truth. No terrorist incidents occurred in the last over 4 years in Xinjiang and the aspiration of all ethnic groups for peaceful and stable living has been realized. No violent or terrorist activities have occurred in Xinjiang for more than 4 years; the number of criminal cases and public security cases has fallen significantly. In 1990s, separatist, terrorist and extremist forces launched thousands of terrorist attacks in Xinjiang, killing large numbers of innocent people, and causing immeasurable damage to property. Xinjiang has undergone significant changes, realizing people of all ethnic groups’ aspiration for peace and stability.

Lies will be exposed eventually. Today, Xinjiang is enjoying high-quality development and putting livelihood improvement as the priority. In 2020, economic indicators like industrial added value and fixed-asset investment are all in national top-rank level. Four prefectures in southern Xinjiang have achieved rapid and healthy economic development with main economic indicators greatly improved. We has won the war against poverty.Annual free health examination have been offered to all Xinjiang residents, and participation rate of residents’ medical insurance totaled 99.7%. The scale of employment has expanded continuously. From 2014 to 2019, the total number of people employed in Xinjiang had risen from 11.35 million to 13.3 million . These facts reflect that, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, people of all ethnic groups have a stronger sense of fulfillment, happiness and security. 

Lies will never instead of truth. Today, religions coexist harmoniously in Xinjiang, and the freedom of religious belief of all ethnic groups are completely protected and respected according to the law. By constantly perfecting the laws and regulations on the management of the religious affairs, improving the conditions of venues for religious activities, building Xinjiang Islamic Institution and its eight branches and other measures, religions are inherited in an orderly manner. As it were, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, Xinjiang has made significant efforts to guarantee the legal rights of religious for the ethnic minorities, which is a fact that no lie can deny.

Lies will never change realities. Currently, Xinjiang fully implements the party's ethnic policy for further advancing the ethnic solidarity. The customs and fine traditions of ethnic minorities are respected, the freedom to use and develop the spoken and written languages of all ethnic groups are protected in accordance with law, cadres of all ethnic groups and professionals are vigorously selected, cultivated and used. Carrying out ethnic unity campaign and other activities strengthening ethnic solidarity, we promote communication, exchange and integration among all ethnic groups like pomegranate seeds that stick together tightly.

Lies will never overcome the truth. According to the statistics, in 2019, students at schools at all levels and of all kinds in the region were 6.4142 million (4.7911 million of ethnic groups, accounting for 74.7 percent). We have realized full coverage of nine-year compulsory education across the region and full coverage of three-year preschool and twelve-year basic education in southern Xinjiang. In fact, ethnic minorities’ right to education is fully guaranteed and fulfilled, which is a fact that no lie can deny.

Xinjiang is China’s Xinjiang and people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang is the member of big family of the Chinese nation. We never allow Pompeo to spread rumors wantonly, and strongly condemn his insidious actions with false-heart care, interference and damage in nature. History is the best judge. What he did is doomed to be cast in to dustbin. What he did will be nailed to the pillar of shame in history. What he did will be accepted a fair trial of history and the day of reckoning will come.
