Recently, I saw on my mobile phone the former Secretary of State Pompeo’s remarks saying “Xinjiang restricts people’s personal freedom, ethnic minority migrant workers have no freedom in factories, and their working and living conditions are poor”. Pompeo’s remarks are purely groundless, nonsense and disturbing. I feel very angry and strongly against it! I want to say to Pompeo that your words and actions have already exposed your darkness and shamelessness. I think you are just like a clown, and your acting skills are very poor. You are directing and acting by yourself. It’s really disgusting.

My home is in Hanarik Town, Hotan County. In April 2019, my wife and I applied for a job in Shandong Haobao Clothing Co., Ltd. I am now in charge of the company’ production, and my income is also good. The company signed a labor contract with us and paid all kinds of insurance for us. The living environment of the company is very good, the dormitory is spacious and bright, with TV and wireless Internet. The company has also specially prepared clean and comfortable houses for us, with all kinds of daily necessities, which makes us feel the warmth of family. The company has halal canteen, in which a variety of nutritious food is served. The production equipment in the company is modern and advanced. Colleagues help, learn from and care for each other, just like a family. On weekends, we can go shopping, watch movies and go shopping. The outside world is so wonderful and beautiful, and my wife and I are particularly happy here.

In our company, the ethnic minority migrant workers from Xinjiang did not suffer from any discrimination. Moreover, our living habits and customs are fully protected and respected. I would like to ask Mr. Pompeo, have you visited our company in person? Have you seen our working and living environment in person? If not, for what purpose do you say that we have “no freedom in the factory, poor working and living conditions”? If we don’t have freedom in the factory, how can we visit the scenic spots, go shopping, watch movies and do what we want to do? If our working and living conditions in the factory are poor, how can we feel particularly happy?

Pompeo’s remarks reading “Xinjiang restricts people’s personal freedom, ethnic minority migrant workers have no freedom in factories, and their working and living conditions are poor” are just excuses to smear China. These remarks seriously violate the facts and have no basis. We advise him not to spread lies ! We will never fall for it.
