On January 19, 2021, in order to seek political gains out of selfish motives, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, when departing office, labelled China’s Xinjiang policies as “genocide” and “crimes against humanity”, which is a malicious insult to the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. It is extremely bad in nature and very sinister in intention. Ignoring and distorting the facts, and out of his hysterical final madness, Pompeo spread the shameless rumors that deliberately smeared Xinjiang, and staged a farce of American-style bullying to suppress and curb China's development, in an attempt to fish doomsday political capital. His evil actions grossly interference in China's internal affairs. The Chinese people will not provoke troubles, but we never flinch when trouble comes. History has proved that any force that meddles in China’s internal affairs will be badly battered and will come to no good end. His evil intention is to sling mud at, to suppress and to disturb the development of Xinjiang. His actions trample all over the feelings of the people from all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. On behalf of Xinjiang Boxing Association, I express my strong indignation and firm opposition.　　

Pompeo, the “worst secretary of state in American history”, has told too many lies over the past years. As for the issues about Xinjiang, he tried every means and broke the red line of morality again and again, spreading sensation-mongering rumors and concocting lies. In order to sling mud at Xinjiang, he even invited Mihrigul Tursun, a wicked habitual liar, to tell her so-called “personal experiences” in the hearing of “Chinese Committee” under US Congress. In addition, Pompeo implausibly gave the 2020 International Women of Courage Award to Sayragul Sawuytbay, a criminal suspect for loan fraud and illegal border crossing according to Criminal Law of People’s Republic of China, which is completely desecrating and fooling human rights. The so-called “genocide” and crimes against humanity are sensation-mongering false propositions and a malicious ridiculous farce deliberately concocted by some anti-China and anti-communist forces represented by Pompeo, which only exist in Pompeo’s ugly political conspiracy. Such crimes did not, do not and will not happen in this land. Mike Pompeo, notorious for lying and cheating, is turning himself into a clown with his last-day madness and lies of the century.　　

As a Uygur official born and raised in Xinjiang, I have witnessed the historical process of its economic and social development and the improvement of people’s livelihood. Under the cultivation of the Party, the country and the region, I have grown up to be a national boxing team coach and the chairman of Xinjiang Boxing Association. During my athletic career, I have won 10 boxing championships home and abroad. The honors I have received include a deputy to the 10th NPC, National Outstanding Worker, and Top 10 Outstanding Young People in Xinjiang. I owe a debt of gratitude to the Party and the country for the care and cultivation of my personal growth and progress, and for the policies on ethnic minorities and the policies of reform and opening-up, which have brought me considerable benefits.

The state and the regional Party committee and government have always been attaching great importance to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of people from all ethnic groups, including Uygurs, and have always been strongly supporting their development in various fields. To take the Xinjiang boxing team as an example, with the strong support and cultivation of the regional Party committee and government, it has grown into a strong one in Chinese boxing circles through more than 20 years of efforts. The boxing team has produced a galaxy of outstanding representative boxers. Among them are Abdurheman Abrikm, Kanat Islam, Akrem Ishak, and Maimaitituersun Qiong. At their lead, a new generation of excellent boxers has emerged, such as Tohtarbek Tanglatkhan, Ahmat Mamat, Haisal Tasimamat, Bayikuz Danabek, Sarik Tuwtayi and Harimlat Rehman. Most of them are Uygur athletes. Xinjiang boxing team has taken part on behalf of China in major international events such as Sydney Olympics, Athens Olympics, Beijing Olympics and London Olympics, and it has taken part on behalf of Xinjiang in major national events and achieved a series of successes. Up to now, Xinjiang boxing team has won 132 gold medals in national and international events, and it has cultivated 5 international-level master sportsmen, 35 national-level master sportsmen, and has also provided more than 30 outstanding athletes for the national boxing team. These achievements are attributable to China's ethnic policies and to the care and cultivation from the state and the regional government. With their support and help, many ethnic minority athletes have grown up and realized their dreams and life values.

Pompeo made up a series of lies about Xinjiang, which is not only a great insult to Xinjiang people, but also a betrayal and challenge to morality and basic conscience. His actions of discrediting Xinjiang are ridiculous. Especially on Xinjiang-related issues, the notorious and immoral liar repeatedly issued groundless fallacies, which reflects not only his own inferior moral quality, but also the sinister intentions of individual American forces: they smeared and attacked China and the Communist Party of China, created the so-called Xinjiang issue, and interfered in China’s internal affairs under the guise of human rights, so as to destabilize China and to curb China's development.

Lies could never take the place of the truth, and justice naturally inhabits man's heart. Pompeo’s statement is full of fallacies, which exposes his sinister intentions to destabilize Xinjiang, to curb Xinjiang’s development, and to mislead and poison international public opinion. No matter how mad his performance is, it is only a weak and feeble final struggle. It will definitely be highly unpopular, it will get nowhere, and it is nothing but an unrealistic daydream.
