Not long ago, the former US Secretary of State Pompeo released a Xinjiang-related statement, fabricating groundless accusations, maliciously smearing Xinjiang’s human rights issues and happy life of Xinjiang people of all ethnic groups. His odious purpose was to destabilize Xinjiang, disrupt its development. As a native Xinjiang CPC cadre, also being a participant, witness and beneficiary of Xinjiang’s stable development, I strongly condemn and firmly oppose Pompeo’s ugly behaviors of spreading lies, blatantly interfering in China’s internal affairs, and making serious violation of international law and basic norms governing international relations.
As a native Xinjiang minority cadre, I must stand up and expose Pompeo’s last day lies. I was born in beautiful Hotan. My father was an ordinary worker, also a beneficiary of the path to the happy life guided by the CPC. I have two brothers. I studied for free from elementary school till college. In 1984, I graduated from Hotan Normal College and stayed there teaching till now. Under the care and fostering of the CPC and government, I have become a college teacher from a worker’s son and a low-mid ranking cadre. I am very proud of that. I used to live in shabby, adobe houses, but now I live in apartment buildings. My life is getting better and well-off.
At college, I study and live with other staff and students of different ethnic groups as close as a family. Both of my children have graduated from college, one of them now works as a teacher, another one is businessman. Both chose their profession on their own. They have their own fabulous family and happy life. With Chinese economy increasing rapidly, under the care of the CPC, I’ve got job, family; working environment and living standard are getting better.
Xinjiang now enjoys the best phase of prosperity in its history. People live and work in peace and contentment and in harmony. They enjoy the rights to subsistence and development. Being a Xinjiang resident, I’ve become the witness and direct beneficiary of its prosperity. I am proud of my great motherland.
