Recently, the notorious master of lies, the former US Secretary of State Pompeo, published “century lies” when he was about to leave office, falsely claiming that Xinjiang had committed “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” against Uygur Muslims and other ethnic minorities. His despicable behavior seriously trampled on the basic norms of international law and international relations, and seriously interfered in China’s internal affairs, attacking the Chinese government’s policy of ruling Xinjiang for groundless basis, and deliberately discrediting the stable development of Xinjiang and the happy life of the people of all ethnic groups. As a Uygur intellectual, I express my strong indignation and firm opposition to it!

As a post-80s Uygur doctoral degree holder of agriculture, I came back to my hometown to work after I got my doctoral degree abroad. I have enjoyed human rights protection and freedom since I was a child, and I have grown up in the warmth and care of the party and the government. How could the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang live such a happy and healthy life without the care and cultivation of the party and the state for ethnic minorities? Pompeo, do you know that I am one of thousands of Uygur youth who have grown up under the care and cultivation of the Chinese Communist Party? How do you dare to say wantonly that Xinjiang has no human rights? You know nothing about the real Xinjiang at all. Xinjiang people have the final say about the real situation of Xinjiang. So shut your mouth!

After one year’s work, I actively responded to the call of the party and devoted myself to the fight against poverty in the four prefectures in southern Xinjiang. In 2018 and 2019, I worked as a poverty alleviation specialist in Baishituokelake village, Keerke Township, Yutian County, Hotan Prefecture, and began to serve as the secretary of the village Party branch in May 2018. Now in Xinjiang, there are subsidies for farmers in many aspects, such as growing grain, developing courtyard economy, building houses, improving farmland conditions, agricultural machinery purchase, medical insurance, subsidies for the aged, and free compulsory education. These measures have greatly improved people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security. I have witnessed the changes of former trainees in my village. In the vocational education and training center, they improved their level of national language, learned legal knowledge, mastered vocational skills, and made great changes in their speech, behavior, and dress. Women are dressed in fashionable and modern way, while men are full of spirit and self-confidence. They are both grateful to the party and the government from the depth of their hearts. I would like to ask Pompeo, the master of lies, do you know about this?

Poverty alleviation is a hundred-year plan which is benefiting people presently and plays favorable role for the prospective years. Under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and with the joint efforts of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, we have won the battle of poverty alleviation, with a total of 3,666 poor villages and 32 poor counties lifted out of poverty, and 3.0649 million people having shaken off poverty. Absolute poverty and regional overall poverty in the four prefectures of Southern Xinjiang were basically eliminated, and the fight for poverty alleviation won a decisive victory. Today's Xinjiang is in its best period of prosperity and development in history with social stability, economic development, ethnic unity, and religious harmony. People of all ethnic groups are living and working in peace and contentment, and various undertakings of Xinjiang are flourishing. Pompeo, do you know about this?

All ethnic cultures in Xinjiang have been effectively protected and inherited. All ethnic groups in Xinjiang mainly use 10 languages, and all kinds of schools at all levels use six languages for teaching, including Chinese, Uygur, Kazakh, Mongolian, Kirgiz, Xibe. Languages of ethnic minorities are widely used in the fields of justice, administration, education, press and publication, radio, film and television, network and daily life, which effectively promotes the inheritance and development of Xinjiang’s ethnic languages. In February last year, I translated three books on the promotion of agricultural technology during the national isolation for epidemic prevention and control. If ethnic minorities could not use their own language, as you said, why did I translate the three books from Chinese into Uygur? If no one reads Uygur book, I would not have done the translation? Pompeo, don’t talk nonsense and stop slandering wantonly!

Facts have proved that Pompo's so-called “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” are totally slanders with ulterior motives. They are lies full of political schemes which exposes his sinister intentions of undermining the social stability of Xinjiang and hindering the development of Xinjiang. But any kind of lies can not stop the process of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Any kind of forces can not hinder the process of Xinjiang’s stable development and prosperity. Any kind of slander and provocation can not destroy the great unity of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. We people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang will hold together like pomegranate seeds and never separate!
