Pompeo released Xinjiang-related fabrications, neglecting the truth, and exposing his sinister character. I strongly condemn and resolutely oppose to his shameless remarks and ugly behaviors.

My name is Sharida Anwar. I am a native Xinjiang resident. From childhood, I have established solid friendship with the kids of different ethnic groups, with whom I played and studied together. We send each other best wishes on holidays. From kindergarten till my Master’s studies, under the kind care of the CPC and the government, I have enjoyed the best quality education and graduated successfully. As a minority party cadre, I have grown a strong emotional attachment to the CPC and the state. I firmly reject all of the political viruses and lies fabricated and spread by Pompeo.

Pompeo smeared that Xinjiang curbed population of ethnic minorities, committed genocide against Uyghurs, which is a total lie. After finished my postgraduate study in 2018, I took part in the civil servant recruitment exam and was recruited by the state organ. At work, my supervisors and colleagues take good care of me; in life, I get along with my colleagues, giving help each other. In September that year, I went to the kindergarten in Choda Township of Guma County, Hotan Prefecture for bilingual preschool teaching in southern Xinjiang. I witnessed that the kids of ethnic minorities in southern Xinjiang grew up joyfully under the care of the CPC and the state. All of them study for free; three meals a day are provided for free. They enjoy preferential policies from the CPC and the state; their Putonghua and self-expressive abilities have improved remarkably; they have become brave, optimistic pioneers. How can “genocide” happen when compulsory education and daily three meals are provided for free? It is preposterous. Uyghurs were not “committed genocide”; on the contrary, the growth rate of the Uyghur population is higher than that of other ethnic minorities, and is obviously much higher than that of the Han population. So-called “genocide” is simply nonexistent.

There hasn’t been any violent terrorist case in Xinjiang over the past 4 years; infiltration of extremism has been contained; public security has been improved; people’s senses of fulfillment, happiness and security have increased. With the joint efforts by people of all ethnic groups, Xinjiang enjoys social stability and economic development; its people live in peace and contentment with improving living standards. In the face of epidemic, Chinese government applied scientific preventive approach, cutting off spread of the virus, safeguarding people’s health and life to the maximum extend. This epidemic is like a mirror, reflecting the generous and responsible character and conscience of majority of the nations and people in the world as well as Pompeo’s prejudice, selfishness and narrow-mindedness. Pompeo sees China through prejudice and biasness and will be definitely be isolated by the international community.

I can feel that no other country can take care of ethnic minorities as the CPC does. I am very proud of being a Chinese. Xinjiang is China’s Xinjiang. All ethnic groups in Xinjiang are all the integrated part of the Chinese nation. We don’t allow Pompeo to spread rumors and poisonous remarks. People of all ethnic groups who live and work in Xinjiang are best qualified to refute any slanders of stability and ethnic relations in Xinjiang. We live in Xinjiang very happily. Pompeo distorts the facts under ulterior motive. Pompeo! You have no right to put a finger at Xinjiang. Please shut your mouth!
