Mike Pompeo, “the worst US Secretary of State in history”, has recently made absurd remarks about Xinjiang, which ignored the truth and attacked Chinese government’s policies over Xinjiang. What he did slandered the human rights situation in Xinjiang, wantonly discredited the measures we had taken to fight against terrorism and extremism, wiped out various development achievements in Xinjiang, and ignored the true feelings of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, which once again exposed Pompeo’s double standards without bottom line and his hypocritical hegemonic logic. Now we are fully aware of the evil intention of the “worst and most shameless Secretary of State” in the history of the United States.

As a young teacher of ethnic minorities, I strongly condemn Pompeo's reckless words and deeds. Do not slander Xinjiang any more, Pompeo! The people of all ethnic groups who live in Xinjiang for generations are the most qualified to speak on whether the people of Xinjiang live a good life or not. The people of all ethnic groups here are united and friendly as we live a happy life and work in peace and contentment. We are just as close as pomegranate seeds. The languages, traditional culture and customs of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang are well preserved. What’s more, there are books, TV shows, news in languages of minorities. As far as my friends and family are concerned, no one is banned from speaking their own language and celebrating the traditional festivals; no one is forced to have birth control surgery; and there is no so called “forced labor”. Everything here is wonderful. With more and more investment from the country, the infrastructure, education and health care have been tremendously improved. Medical insurance is available for medical treatment and education is ensured. Everyone is able to get rid of poverty with their own hands. Cadres visit people in Xinjiang often bring benefits to local people and make them more united. Besides, the poverty alleviation project allows cadres and local people to work together to fight against poverty. I saw a video a few days ago. A village cadre was embracing the villagers before his resignation. All of them were weeping. Their tears were real and the story was true. No one is able to fake it. I also shed tears in front of the screen. Xinjiang is a place full of warmth, so the masses of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang receive a stronger sense of identity with the great motherland and expectation for a happy life of unity and stability.

A thousand lies can not help in front of the truth: with the leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang has experienced great changes. Unprecedented achievements have been made in economic and social development. And people's livelihood has been greatly improved. There is no violent and terrorist cases for more than four years. Cities in north and south of Tianshan Mountain have achieved social stability and economic prosperity. People are living and working in peace and contentment, their sense of gain, happiness and security have been thus strengthened. Xinjiang's brilliant achievements in all aspects have stricken attention of the world.

With the help of Development of Western China, I was able to leave Xinjiang for developed cities in mainland for senior high school and university, so I received quality education. All these credited to my efforts as well as the support from the state for Xinjiang’s education, which enabled us to change our future. People never discriminated against me or excluded me in school or workplace for I am from Xinjiang as a minority. Instead, they gave me the most care and respect. We have been on very intimate terms, talking with each other about our dreams. This is the most simple but truest feelings of national unity, it is something that even 10,000 Pompeo cannot destroy.

The development achieved in Xinjiang is obvious to the world, and it won’t be wiped out by a clown like Pompeo. The absurd remarks of Pompeo will finally fail.
