Any Attempt to Interfere with Xinjiang Will Never Succeed

Recently, Mike Pompeo has been making absurd remarks to attack and discredit Xinjiang, declaring that Xinjiang’s policies toward Muslims and ethnic minorities have committed “crime against humanity” and “genocide”, which is totally a pack of lies. As a journalist, I feel extremely indignant.

As a native of Xinjiang, I have been living here and witnessed great changes and development of Xinjiang. What’s more, I have been in the process of striving for Xinjiang’s prosperity and development. I am from Luntai County of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture. And I feel that the urban appearance and transportation of my hometown have been greatly improved in recent years. The roads become wider and wider, and the houses become more and more beautiful. It used to take at least ten hours to go to Luntai from Urumqi, but now it only takes four hours by train. These changes are happening around us. Everyone living in Xinjiang can cite abundant alike examples.

Pompeo has falsely accused Xinjiang of "forced sterilization" without any evidence and proof. Now, I will refute it with my own experience. My parents gave birth to five children. Now five of us all have jobs, and we have children according to our own wishes. And I have two children myself. So what's all this 'forced sterilization'?

Facts speak louder than words. Pompeo's remarks are so absurd and ridiculous, which will only add a stain to his notorious "diplomatic legacy". Pompeo, the labels of "crime against humanity" and "genocide" that you pinned on Xinjiang is nothing but a sheer fabrication!
