Tuerxunjiang Aibaidula, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and the Head of Luntai County

Recently, the former U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo published fallacies related to Xinjiang, which completely violated the facts, confusing the right and the wrong, falsely accused Xinjiang of committing “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” against Uygur Muslims and other ethnic minorities, and maliciously attacked China’s policy of ruling Xinjiang. All these are fallacies. I express my strong indignation and firm opposition!

Pompeo hyped Xinjiang related issues and constantly spread sensational and false information, which is totally against the mainstream public opinion of the international community. The essence of his behavior was to create the sense of his presence, stir up world contradictions, and slander with deceptive tricks, which was a common practice for the survival of the doomsday clown. As a member of the Chinese nation, and the children of Xinjiang, we should see clearly the sinister intentions of Pompeo and his likes, whose purpose was to stir up the Chinese ethnic dissensions, destroy the prosperity and stability of Xinjiang, and curb China’s development and growth. Their sinister plot will not succeed, and every Chinese will never allow this and will resolutely oppose it!

The civil workers and the masses of all ethnic groups in Luntai County closely focus on the party’s general strategy of governing Xinjiang in the new era, especially the general goal of social stability and long-term peace. They concentrate their efforts, overcome difficulties, actively acting and taking the initiative to achieve healthy economic development and maintain social harmony and stability. They work hard to continuously improve people’s livelihood, make all-round progress in various undertakings, and continuously releasing stable dividends. The masses of all ethnic groups hold together like pomegranate seeds. Today Xinjiang is in its best period of prosperity and development in history. Two poverty-stricken villages achieved poverty alleviation at the end of 2016 and 2017 respectively. 14539 registered poverty-stricken people and 5331 registered poverty-stricken households have all shaken off poverty at the end of 2019, and the incidence of poverty has dropped to zero. In 2020, the per capita net income of poor households reached 14168 yuan, 2.2 times higher than that in 2016.

In recent years, the dividend of social stability has been released continuously to promote high-quality economic development. It is estimated that in 2020 the following goals will be realized: the GDP will reach 6.244 billion yuan, with an average annual growth of 6.7%; the total investment in fixed assets will reach 7.501 billion yuan in five years; the public budget revenue will reach 956 million yuan with an average annual growth of 6.7%; the per capita disposable income of urban residents will reach 36,087 yuan, with an average annual growth of 7.3%; the per capita income of farmers and herdsmen will reach 18,997 yuan, with an average annual growth of over 1,000 yuan; the annual number of tourists will be 1.124 million, with an income of 227 million yuan, an increase of 76.27%. People’s livelihood security continues to improve with an accumulated investment of 120 million yuan in 28 new school buildings and 8 standard synthetic rubber sports fields, and an accumulated investment of more than 77.35 million yuan in the purchase of education and teaching equipment. This project has passed check implemented by some departments for the balanced development of compulsory education in Xinjiang. The service of “diagnosis and treatment before payment and one-stop settlement” has been fully implemented. The signing rate of family doctors has reached 87.3%, and the completion rate of free physical examination for all has reached 100%. The centralized support rate of elderly people who are willing to live in the happy compound for senior people has reached 100%, and the people’s sense of gain, happiness and security has been continuously enhanced.

Facts speak louder than words, and justice lies in the heart of people. The “genocide” and “crimes against humanity” concocted by Pompeo are pure nonsense. The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang know best whether our people are living well or not, and whether we are happy or not. We can’t tolerate others’ bossy instructions on what to do and maliciously discrediting Xinjiang. In the face of the fact that the society is stable and harmonious and the people live happily, Pompeo’s century lies can’t stand. I firmly believe that as long as we resolutely implement the party’s strategy of ruling Xinjiang in the new era, the future of Luntai will be better and the goal of “building a beautiful Xinjiang and realizing the dream of the motherland” will be realized as soon as possible!
