On January 19, 2021, Pompeo brought his doomsday madness to the extreme and declared that the Chinese government had “committed crimes against humanity” and “genocide” against ethnic and religious minorities such as the Uygur in Xinjiang. This is sheer nonsense and can not stand any scrutiny. It is the “doomsday madness” of Pompeo and his like against Xinjiang China. It is doomed to be swept into the garbage heap of history. As we all know, in recent years, Pompeo has been concocting lies and sensational fallacies on Xinjiang related issues. This is totally ignorance of the facts, confusion of the right and the wrong, distort and fabricate from nothing. Pompeo deliberately obliterated China’s great efforts and achievements in anti-terrorism and de-radicalization, and completely ignored the objective fact that the human rights of the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have been effectively guaranteed. He maliciously discredited the human rights situation in Xinjiang, which constituted a gross interference in China’s internal affairs and a flagrant violation of the basic norms of international law and international relations. As a member of Xinjiang Uygur officials and masses, I express my strong indignation and firm opposition to this.

In the face of the facts, any lie is untenable. In the past, Xinjiang suffered severely from the “three forces”. Terrorist attacks occurred frequently, causing great harm to the safety of people’s lives and property, and seriously affecting the social and economic development. In the face of the realistic threat of terrorism and extremism, Xinjiang has learned from the experience of the international community in anti-terrorism and de-radicalization combat, and carried out the anti-terrorism and de-radicalization combat in accordance with the law. At present, Xinjiang’s society is stable, its development continues to improve, and its people live and work in peace and contentment. There have been no cases of violence and terrorism in Xinjiang for more than four consecutive years. Xinjiang’s natural population growth rate, especially the growth rate of ethnic minorities, has been stable in recent years. Xinjiang’s ethnic minorities have also received care and assistance from the national policy in terms of education, religious belief rights, political rights, etc., which have achieved considerable development and comprehensive protection. No matter how Pompeo lied, he will never cover up the fact of social stability and development in Xinjiang and change the fact that people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang live a happy life.

In fact, Pompeo also understands that no matter how the “genocide” lies are packed, they are lies and can not stand scrutiny. However, he doesn’t care whether his lies stand up to scrutiny, because he has been a liar for a long time. As Pompeo said in his previous speech, “we lie, we cheat, we steal”, and they even have a course to teach them. This is regarded as the glory of their continuous exploration and progress. His purpose of fabricating “genocide” lies was not to fabricate the lies themselves, but to discredit China’s international image through such malicious hype without any bottom line of moral principles.

Facts speak louder than words, and rumors end with wise men. Here, I solemnly declare once again: as a party member and official born and raised in Xinjiang, I have witnessed with my own eyes that with the care and help of the motherland family, the strong leadership of the party and the joint efforts of all ethnic groups, today’s Xinjiang is united, harmonious, prosperous, civilized and progressive, with people of all ethnic groups living and working in peace and contentment. I will never accept and tolerate the lies concocted against Xinjiang by Pompeo and other anti-china forces! The good situation of social stability and harmony in Xinjiang can not be shaken by Pompeo’s bewitching. The objective facts of ethnic unity and religious harmony in Xinjiang can not be denied by Pompeo’s cheating. The efforts of Xinjiang to continuously improve people’s livelihood and seek happiness for all ethnic groups can not be smeared by Pompeo’s lying!

We firmly believe that under the leadership of the Central Committee of CPC, the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang will work together and make concerted efforts to make Xinjiang more prosperous and stable. History will prove that Pompeo’s tricks of interfering in China’s internal affairs by making use of Xinjiang related issues can not blind the eyes of peace loving people in the other parts of the world and the people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang. His ulterior plot will never succeed. The plot of “controlling China by Xinjiang” will eventually become a target of ridicule and doomed to a failure.
