Pompeo interfered in China’s internal affairs under the guise of human rights. To his interference, I would like to say, Pompeo, we should never tolerate your malicious slandering on our life.

I am an intellectual of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang Teachers’ Education College. So far, I have been engaged in education for 23 years. Looking back on the years’ my work, I deeply understand that the development of education in Xinjiang is inseparable from the strong support of the party and the government, inseparable from the social stability and long-term security of Xinjiang, and the economic and social development of Xinjiang.

Looking back on my past schooling days, as a child from a family of an ordinary employee of Xinjiang Bagang Co. in Toutunhe District, Urumqi, I had a poor life at that time. My father was the only person working in the factory of Bagang. He was in poor health and didn’t have much income. Originally, I wanted to go to university, but because of the poverty of my family, I finally decided to go to secondary vocational school. Under the guidance of the middle school head teacher and the director of the educational administration department, I applied for a kindergarten teachers’ school. In 1995, I was successfully admitted to the public class of Xinjiang Kindergarten Teachers’ School. It means that I could enjoy the preferential policy of free tuition, free accommodation, free teaching materials and 38 yuan food subsidy per month. At that time, I was so lucky. For my poor family, it was the help of the state and the government that gave me the chance to change my destiny. In 1998, I graduated with excellent results and stayed in my school to start my education career, officially becoming an educator.

I changed my fate because I was benefited from the good policies of our country. After I started my career, I worked hard and devoted myself to the development of education. I have been feeling the warmth of the party and keeping it in my mind. I have never forgot it. Over the past 23 years, I have witnessed the great changes in Xinjiang’s education. I have witnessed the full coverage of nine-year compulsory education in Xinjiang, three-year preschool education and twelve year basic education in southern Xinjiang, and the achievements of education development have benefited the people of all ethnic groups equally. I have witnessed the mutual help of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, and the full implementation of the party’s ethnic policies. I have witnessed the strong determination of Xinjiang to implement the system of regional ethnic autonomy, fully respecting the customs and habits of ethnic minorities, preserving, inheriting and carrying forward the excellent traditional culture of ethnic groups in accordance with the law, and protect the rights of all ethnic groups to use and develop their own languages in accordance with the law. All ethnic groups get well along with each other, uniting together like pomegranate seeds.

Speaking from the children from my school, children today are not only guaranteed to get schooling, but also have good schooling. At present, there are 2767 students in our college. 69.1% of them are students of ethnic minorities and most of them come from the four prefectures of Southern Xinjiang. At present, students from poor families enjoy free tuition and accommodation, and grants granted by the state and Xinjiang. In the first half of 2020 alone, in our school, 544 secondary vocational students are benefited from the national grants of 544000 yuan, and 286 higher vocational students from a subsidy of 443, 000 yuan. During the epidemic period, the school provided special food subsidies for students from poor families, benefiting 231 students with an amount of 69300 yuan. In recent years, the children of poor families can not only enjoy financial aid from school, but also enjoy various kinds of financial aids from the local government of the city where the school is located. It is the good policies of the party and the state that enables more and more poor students to go out of the countryside, out of the brown land, to the university campus with colorful dreams. In this way they have changed their own life, the life of their families and even the fate of their descendants.

In face of the difficult and extraordinary 2020, under the firm leadership of the CPC Central Committee, Xinjiang insisted on the supremacy of the people and the supremacy of life. Resolute, scientific and decisive measures were taken to protect the life and health of the people of all ethnic groups, including the Uygur, and to win the fignt against COVID-19. As far as my school is concerned, the state provides free nucleic acid testing for all students, and distributes anti-epidemic materials, such as masks, protective clothing, disinfectant water and alcohol to us. Mental health counselors in our school provide 24-hour services for students and teachers. Teachers are working day and night to ensure students’ safety. After the successful development of CoVID-19 vaccine, the whole population will be vaccinated free of charge, and the government will pay all the cost.

The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang have the final say about the great changes in Xinjiang. As a member of the Chinese nation, I feel very proud of living in China. Xinjiang is China’s Xinjiang. The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang are in their unshakable determination to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests. The people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang resolutely oppose interference in Xinjiang affairs by any external forces. Any attempt to intervene in Xinjiang affairs, interfere in China’s internal affairs and defy the Chinese people is doomed to a failure!
