Recently, Mike Pompeo launched a series of false and vicious remarks on Xinjiang, wantonly attacking and smearing Chinese government’s policies on governing Xinjiang and attempting to instigate tension among ethnic groups in Xinjiang. For these words and actions, all Xinjiang people, including me, express their strong condemnation and resolute opposition.

Pompeo, you did not come to Xinjiang, even once! How can you make up such groundless rumors? As for Xinjiang, we Xinjiang people are the best qualified to speak on it. Let me tell you the changes happening in my home town over the years. I was born in Yilahu Town, Tuokexun County, Turpan, where various ethnic groups live and work happily for many and many generations. Here most of the population is Uygur. Now, in the village where I was born, all 564 families are living in bright and spacious brick houses. For building the houses, every family has 285,000 yuan subsidy from the government. In the poor family or the family that has disabled members, the government provides free houses about 50-60 square meters big. Look at this excellent policy of the government! I am so proud that I am a Chinese!

As for medical care, in villages there is the cooperative medical insurance which has covered all villages in Xinjiang. My uncle was infected with herpes zoster, and with the insurance he had to pay only a tiny expenditure. In education, children are enjoying an excellent education now. In the village I was born, each year at least 3-5 students will have the chance to study in middle schools in inland cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, enjoying excellent free education there. Two children of one of my cousins are studying in senior middle schools in Beijing and Qingdao respectively. A son of my another cousin works as a border policeman after graduation from Dalian Institute of Technology. As for entrepreneurship, my younger brother is such an outstanding example. Now he is a member of Turpan People’s Congress, an entrepreneurship model and an outstanding innovator. Relying on the special feature of farming and husbandry in Tokexun, he started the Gulebage Animal Raising Cooperative. With the support from the government, he applied for and successfully was granted 250,000 yuan subsidy. Pompeo, listen to me carefully! This is what happening in my own family! With these irrefutable facts, Pompeo, your lies could not stand at all! You are telling lies with your eyes wide open and you are spreading shameless rumors. Don’t you feel even a bit shame at all?

As for myself, the reason for me being a popular host in law programs in Xinjiang broadcasting and television field and being warmly welcomed by Xinjiang people is that I could exert my capability only because of the help and support from the Party and government. There are millions of people like me. They are doing important work in different units: some working as officials and managers and some working in scientific and research and teaching departments. No matter what places are we in, we are doing our uttermost to make a more and more prosperous China! I just want to tell you, Pompeo, SHUT UP!
