In particular, some of his Xinjiang related remarks can be called “century lies”. In this regard, I just want to say that Pompeo has just overestimated his power and he can never stop us from striving forward.

As a Uygur intellectual, I was born, raised and have been working in Xinjiang. It was the party and the people who raised and cultivated me. In 1987, I graduated from Changji University and started my professional career in Changji University. With the help of the leadership and colleagues, I developed myself into the vice president from an ordinary teacher. In the past years, I have witnessed the dramatic changes in Xinjiang. I have really felt that under the firm leadership of the Central Committee of CPC with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, the sustained and healthy development of our economy continues and the overall social harmony and stability develops. The people’s livelihood and well-being have been continuously enhanced, the religious field has been harmonious and harmonious, and the people of all ethnic groups have united and loved each other, helping each other, and holding together like pomegranate seeds. I have deeply realized that Xinjiang is in the best period of prosperity and development in history.

Education is the foundation of a long-term plan. Since the Nineteenth Party Congress of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Xinjiang has vigorously implemented the educational project of benefiting the people, optimizing the school infrastructure, continuously improving the educational environment, and having significantly promoted the school running conditions and the quality of education and teaching. In the decisive stage of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, I was very honored to have participated in the program of “Investigating, Benefiting and Solidarizing” in Xinjiang. I deeply felt the government’s strong support for Southern Xinjiang. For example, all the school-age teenagers are guaranteed to have schooling, receive education and learn. The four prefectures in southern Xinjiang have implemented 15 years of free education from kindergarten to high school, and the modern vocational education system has been basically established. With the rapid development of higher education classification, fundamental changes have taken place in educational area in Xinjiang. At the same time, Xinjiang vigorously implements the employment and entrepreneurship promotion plan, providing sufficient jobs for college and technical secondary school graduates of all ethnic groups.

Language is an important bridge of communication. In recent years, Xinjiang has strictly implemented the law of The People’s Republic of China on Regional Ethnic Autonomy, The Education Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Law of The People’s Republic of China on the National Language, so as to comprehensively improve the ability of students of all ethnic groups to learn and use the national language. In terms of the actual situation, Changji University adheres to the fundamental position of promoting the education and teaching of national language and popularizing national language, and actively constructs a three-dimensional national language teaching system, opening a general course of “Chinese” for college students of ethnic minorities, which comprehensively improves the national language ability and level of students of ethnic minorities, and helps them to graduate and find a job. The successful graduation and early employment of students of ethnic minorities help poor students’ families in southern Xinjiang shake off poverty, and improve the sense of acquisition and happiness of students and their parents.

Ethnic unity is an important cornerstone of Xinjiang’s development. In recent years, Xinjiang has vigorously promoted the work of ethnic unity. While carrying out the activity of “ethnic unity” at the social level, activity of “three visits, two contacts and one friend” is being carried out at the school level. In the form of making friends and pairing, teachers of the college enter the classroom, visit student’s dormitory and contact students and their parents. They learn, help and tolerate each other, learning, playing and growing up together. In the happy environment, we are close to each other. The exchanges between teachers and students of all ethnic groups continue to strengthen. Upon every traditional festival of ethnic minorities, we also hold all kinds of cultural and recreational activities. Students of all ethnic groups celebrate the festival together and have fun together, and the awareness of the Chinese national community among teachers and students have been enhanced.

Dark clouds can’t hide the light of the sun, and lies can’t defeat truth and stop us from striving forward. At present, standing at the historical intersection of the “two centenaries”, as college teachers under the strong leadership of the Party committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, we will focus on the general goal of Xinjiang work and the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, solidly carrying out the project of culturally benefiting Xinjiang and guiding teachers and students of all ethnic groups to continuously enhance the “five identities” continue to build the ideological foundation of social stability and long-term security in Xinjiang. We will meet the advent of the centennial birthday of the Communist Party of China with excellent achievements .
