In the history of the United States, there has never been such a Secretary of State as Pompeo, who is a shameless big liar. In particular, his recent remarks concerning Xinjiang once again show people all over the world what a shameless ignorant person without any moral principle is like. As an official of ethnic minority who has lived in Xinjiang for a long time, I feel obliged to prove Pompeo’s shameful and despicable character with my own experience.

My name is Buwajier Mijiti. I am a retired official of Kashgar University. With gratitude for the party and love for education, now I have come back from my retirement to work in the Office of Foreign Exchange and Cooperation of Kashgar University. I have witnessed with my own eyes that under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the Party committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and with the selfless assistance of counterpart provinces, cities and universities, Kashgar university has made a historic development in the comprehensive construction.

Looking back on my growth, I was born in a family of Party members and civil workers. My father was the first batch of civil workers of ethnic minority and excellent police officers after the liberation of Xinjiang. All his life, cherishing the gratitude to the party, he dedicated himself to his work, working scrupulously, and with strict demands on his children and relatives, taught them to learn and study modern science. Under the strict requirements and education guidance of my father, we six sisters received good higher education and grew into Party members and officials. Since I was a child, I have been determined to be a useful person to the society and the country, so as to repay the kindness of the party’s cultivation. My husband is also a university teacher. Both of my sons have enjoyed the special preferential policies for senior middle school students. They have received the best high school education in developed provinces and cities in the inland. Later, they went to Shanghai Tongji University and other first-class universities to study, and then to the best state-owned enterprises to work, and got a good development. Our family is well aware that without the good policies of the Party Central Committee for Xinjiang and ethnic minorities it is impossible to have a stable and harmonious happy life for three generations of our family.

As a native of Xinjiang, I have personally experienced and witnessed the great changes in Xinjiang. The Party Central Committee has always attached great importance to the work of Xinjiang, especially since the 18th CPC National Congress. Under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee, Xinjiang has made historic achievements in reform and opening up, ethnic unity, social progress, improvement of people’s livelihood, and consolidation of border defense.

However, western anti-China forces such as Pompeo have turned blind eyes to the changes in Xinjiang. Instead, they have repeatedly made trouble, wantonly attacking our party and government and wantonly stigmatizing China’s governance measures. In the final analysis, they are creating excuses for interfering in China’s internal affairs. Pompeo, the tricks you have played can only expose your ugly nature and the ignorance you have displayed can only be ridiculed by all the people in the world.
