Recently, I have learned from many media that Pompeo has wantonly slandered and discredited China’s policy of ruling Xinjiang. He has tried every means to discredit my hometown, taking the part for the whole and ignoring the facts, and has maliciously slandered the achievements of Xinjiang’s work and discredited the Chinese government’s policy of ruling Xinjiang. Pompeo know nothing about Xinjiang’s social stability and development, but only for ulterior purposes he wantonly slandered and smeared. This is not only a gross interference in China’s internal affairs, but also a blatant violation of the basic norms of international law and international relations! I firmly oppose and strongly condemn this!

As a Uygur Party member and a official who was born, grew up and has been working in Xinjiang, I am the witness of Xinjiang people’s rising happiness and have felt it personally. Many of my relatives and friends, through a series of positive employment policies implemented in Xinjiang, such as lowering the threshold to encourage entrepreneurship and employment, counterpart assistance to Xinjiang for employment, skill training to promote employment, and “satellite factory” to absorb employment, have made a stride in their life. Now they have a house in the city, have enough money with a secure sense for their life. My compatriots who have participated in labor dispatch in the inland provinces have also broadened their horizons, promoted their learning ability, and got rid of the past state of ignorance and little learning. the so-called slogan of “human rights” and “freedom”, even slandering that “millions of Uygur people are forced to work” and malicious labels of “anti-humanity” and “genocide” are all naked hegemonic acts! I would like to warn Pompeo that a lie is a lie and that even if it has been said a thousand times, it is still a lie. 25 million people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang and 1.4 billion Chinese people will never tolerate this conduct!

In participating in the work of “Investigating, Benefiting and Solidarizing”, I learned more carefully and understood that our party has always practiced excessively in investigating people’s conditions, benefiting people’s livelihood and solidarizing people, constantly strengthened the grassroots foundation, paying close attention to poverty alleviation, and sincerely served the masses, building a “heart bridge” connecting the masses of all ethnic groups with true feelings and hard work. In Gongliu County, there are 130 poverty-stricken households in the villages where the three working teams of “Investigating, Benefiting and Solidarizing” dispatched by my university are working. Our university has assisted 32 paired households, with a total of 3.59 million yuan invested in the “Investigating, Benefiting and Solidarizing” fund, and completed 5 projects of “benefiting people’s livelihood” of Xinjiang with a total investment of 2.25 million yuan. Our university has also organized 54 scholars and experts to provide aids concerning the knowledge of law and science and technology, benefiting more than 7200 people of all ethnic groups The fruit is obvious. Our school has selected 46 university teachers and department staff to work in 46 villages in 12 townships (towns) of Shule County as poverty alleviation professionals to carry out the task of poverty alleviation in cooperation with the local village work team. At present, 46 villages have shaken off poverty and need to consolidate and improve the achievements of poverty alleviation. At present, 86 poverty-stricken households and 389 villagers have been lifted out of poverty.

In their daily work on the campus, teachers and students of all ethnic groups unite closely like pomegranate seeds. In 2020, there have been 8 online and offline school level activities of paired friend making in our university, and each college has carried out 58 characteristic activities. A large number of activities of “ethnic unity” have been carried out, involving 7598 class activities, 24709 dormitory activities, 4862 dining hall activities, 7345 contacts with students’ parents, and donation of more than 35000 yuan to students, and implementation of 525 good and practical things.

History and practice have proved that the strategy of governing Xinjiang designed by Communist Party of China in the new era is completely correct and must be adopted consistently for a long time! After all, dark clouds can’t block the light of the sun, and lies can’t defeat truth. Pompeo’s lies can only prove his poor moral character and expose his sinister intention of interfering in China’s internal affairs under the guise of human rights. What awaits Pompeo is a fair trial and judgment of history. Finally, I would like to borrow the words of Zhao Lijian, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, that is, every time Pompeo speaks, the international community can better see who are the makers of rumors and lies, the disseminators of false information and the defenders of cold war thinking. Every time Pompeo speaks, the Chinese people will support the Communist Party of China more firmly and love our motherland more deeply. The Chinese people are the defending wall of iron and steel for the Communist Party of China. No one can break it. I firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China, Xinjiang will have a better future.
